Paul McConnell will represent San Francisco by actively promoting a combination of advanced public policy and accountability. Through his experience as a business leader in manufacturing and as a consistent community leader, Paul McConnell can create positive change in the economy and jobs, transportation, education, and energy -- where urgent change is needed. Elected in 1987, the incumbent has lost her focus as San Francisco's representative on these issues -- and, instead, has predominantly served as a non-legislating, big fundraiser for the Party. The time has come to tackle these critical issues, create voter choice for the first time in 14 years, and move San Francisco forward.

Paul McConnell will:
	Create legislation designed to move San Francisco and other urban areas forward.
	Closely track the money he sends back to the City.
	Make public his clear objectives and progress.
	Hold quarterly town hall meetings, rotating through all of the neighborhoods.
