Paul Gregory McConnell is a candidate for California's 8th Congressional District, the City and County of San Francisco, in the United States House of Representatives commencing with the 108th Congress in January 2003. Mr. McConnell is running as a Democrat in the Primary and General Election of 2002. Mr. McConnell has a vision of San Francisco as a showcase for the nation and the world. He has a vision of building Leadership among all citizens, Raising the Bar to higher standards, and (re)building Community. He believes he can better serve San Francisco and the nation with a mix of accountability and progressive policy on the issues that matter most to San Francisco: Transportation, Education, and Energy.
