Vision

If elected, I will initially focus on the following areas which I believe are significant challenges for both San Francisco and the Nation, but where significant progress needs to be made quickly:

• Economy and Jobs
• Transportation
• Education
• Healthcare
• Energy
  
• Hunters Point Shipyard
• Presidio
  

Accountability. Accountability means ensuring:

• Resources allocated to San Francisco are effective and being used as intended.
• Legislation is in the best interest of the people of San Francisco
• Laws are being followed

Simply put, for the amount of Federal money that San Francisco is spending, the return it gets to the quality of life, the environment, and the economy is unacceptably low.

Regarding legislation being in the best interest of the people of San Francisco and laws being followed, San Francisco is missing is direct feedback from the constituency of San Francisco. If elected, I will commit to holding quarterly Town Hall meetings in San Francisco, rotating through the neighborhoods. I believe that hearing the thoughts, ideas, and concerns of the people I will serve and lead is critical in being an effective Representative.
